How to file (about 10 minutes, online)
- Have your Sunbiz document number ready. Sunbiz says payment can be by credit card, debit card, or check/money order (card payments process faster).
- Review the information on file: principal and mailing address, registered agent, and managers or authorized members. The annual report is also where you can update them, including changing your registered agent (how).
- Pay and keep the confirmation. Sunbiz emails it to the entity's email address on file.
Watch for look-alike notices. Florida's Secretary of State has warned about misleading solicitations and says businesses don't need an outside firm to file (2025 press release). File directly at dos.fl.gov/sunbiz.
